Community, neighbors looking out for neighbors, is the vision behind the garden.
The garden is a neighborhood gathering place with benches and picnic tables — a place to sit, relax, enjoy the outdoors and, of course, fresh garden produce!
Fifty percent of all garden produce is shared with low income seniors in our community..
The Macomb County Warming Center seeks, along with our partner churches, to provide a safe, warm place to spend the night and simple but nourishing morning and evening meals for those who would otherwise have no shelter.
The Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers envision a community of caring that makes it possible for all older and disabled adults to enjoy independence and quality of life through a network of supported, prepared, and fulfilled volunteers.
